Your privacy is important to North American Restoration Dry Cleaners, LLC (NARD). This privacy statement provides information about the personal information that NARD collects, and the ways in which NARD uses that personal information.
Every NARD employee is charged with the duty of protecting customer personal information in compliance with privacy legislation.
Accountability: We have the duty and responsibility to ensure personal information is correct. Protect all personal information held by the NARD or transferred to a third party.
Purpose: Before or when any personal information is collected, identify why it is needed and how it will be used. Information is to be used only to provide customers with NARD products and services.
Consent: Inform the customer and obtain the individual’s consent of the purposes for the collection, use or disclosure of personal data.
Collection: Collect only the personal information required to carry on our business.
Access: Your personal information is collected only in the United States and will be accessed the same.
Disclosure and Retention: restrict access to, and disclosure of, identifiable personal information to only those persons who require the information to fulfill their business or professional functions or to public officials or regulators acting within the scope of their authority. Personal information can only be kept for as long as we need it for NARD business or have permission from the customer to retain it.
Safeguards: Protect personal information against loss or theft. Safeguard personal information from unauthorized access, disclosure, copying, use or modification, regardless of the format in which it is held.
Transparency: Inform customers that NARD has policies and practices for the management of personal information. When requested, inform customers if NARD has any personal information about them and explain how it is or has been used. When customers ask, provide the nature and substance of any personal information in NARD files to the individual.
Where NARD discloses your personal information to its agents or sub-contractors for these purposes, the agent or sub-contractor in question will be obligated to use that personal information in accordance with the terms of this privacy statement.
In addition to the disclosures reasonably necessary for the purposes identified elsewhere above, NARD may disclose your personal information to the extent that it is required to do so by law, in connection with any legal proceedings or prospective legal proceedings, and in order to establish, exercise or defend its legal rights.
